Merry Canada

Merry Canada

Merry Canada is RINET Center’s annual community gathering. Its cultural, intellectual and sports activities aim to strengthen social cohesion and bring communities together. It rests on a simple conviction: a shared experience, such as a match, a meal or a conversation, builds a trust that formal programmes alone cannot.

The 2022 edition, in Ottawa, was built around a football match between Indigenous communities from Manitoba and Black communities from Ottawa. Beyond the game, the day was designed as a meeting place for communities that rarely share the same field.
